What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!
Artists Quarter
There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
“Hey, Zips, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Zips shook paws with Puff. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" he said.

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

"Wasn’t it worth coming all this way, Zips," said Cuckoo, "for this experience alone?" Zips, admiring the scene they were now in, heartily agreed!

Zips gazed upwards. "I just saw some bats flying over there, lily! It's not often you see those!"

“We could go on a hunt for glow-worms, perhaps!” said Zips to Pynelope. "I've never seen one."
“Hmm, I can see us getting lost in the woods and missing breakfast. I'm famished already!" responded Pynelope.

“Everything is always darkest just before the dawn,” intoned Choose a namebecky.
“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Zips.

“It's a lot darker than it was in the Labyrinth that time, isn't it, Zips?” remarked Rosco, a little nervously.
“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Zips.

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Zips is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Sweety comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Sweety. Zips looks down and sees something valuable. Sweety generously lets Zips keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival
“I think my torch is going flat,” said FLAPPY, shaking it worriedly.
“Don't worry, FLAPPY," said Zips. "We're going to stick in this group as we go round so it's quite safe."

Robby was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Zips unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Robby’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Robby. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

“I'm enjoying the tour very much but it's getting quite cold, isn't it, Zips?” shivered Bear.
“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied Zips. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation!"

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

Zips and Lady agreed that the variety of environments on their expedition was the best ever! Zips and Lady exchanged opinions on which their favourite attraction had been so far!

@ Raceway City
While Zips paused to drink in the view, Hoots started scrabbling in his rucksack for his portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Hoots?” asked Zips. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

@ Downtown Shop Center
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Zips!” said pRINCESS. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Zips good-naturedly took charge of pRINCESS's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Zips helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

This looks like the perfect place to rest from a day of travel, do some window shopping and rest weary paws.

“Was that the call of a nightjar, Zips?” whispered Paradiddle. "We're not usually up when they're out and about!"

Zips is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when Esmerelda comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says Esmerelda. Zips is amazed to have collected all three items!

Zips has seen enough buildings to plan his own town, and is tired out. Mulrey agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
