Scaredy Cat
At the PnF Rec Center, we find Bob, Scaredy Cat, JJ and Sam the turtle, albeit looking a little different. Sam greeted the class by saying "Welcome to the Shapes Room"! He wanted to say Ship Shape room, but he didn't want to cause confusion since they aren't really on a ship. They all said hello and then Bob asked Sam "what is the purpose of the ‘shape’ room"? "Good question Bob! He then went on to say that this room is about getting back to basics with your creativity. There are so many fun and unique shapes in PnF that we can create some imaginative items like Scaredy Cat and JJ did there using the triangle and angled line to make a see saw. In fact, I look different because I used the quarter moon shape to give myself a beard". Scaredy Cat looked around the room and said, "it's like when we were kids and played with building blocks and tinker toys"! "I remember we came up with some really cool stuff" replied Bob. Sam added that this was just the beginning, he would like to see what the users can create using shapes too." "I love that idea, let’s do it" says Scaredy Cat. Then the group went back to seeing what other fun things they could make while Sam continued cheering them on.

This week is all about getting back to using our imagination using "Shapes". What kind of items do you think you could build or create using shapes? Maybe a bicycle , a bouncy ball or a tent? We have some extraordinarily talented players that use shapes to create some pretty cool stuff. There are so many options, colors and shapes to choose from. They can be found under the Shapes Tab in the editor or in the mall. Your art should primarily be about the topic while other decorations are allowed in the scene too. Some decorations can be considered a shape such as the punctuation pieces along with a few other items. Now, let’s get your imaginations fired up and see your amazing creations in the gallery this week!
