scaredy cat sits on a stone wall, watching kaida soaring high in the sky. they have been visiting canada and are currently in a peaceful spot overlooking the canadian rocky mountains. they've been spending time with the beaver brothers, who very kindly invited them to share thanksgiving with them. they've been feasting on turkey, mashed potatoes and all the fixins - including pie - picnic style. the beaver brothers have been sharing some fun and interesting facts their friends didn't know about canada. hockey and lacrosse are the national sports; english and french are the two main languages spoken there; canada is the second largest country in the world (wow!); there are more than 30,000 lakes in canada (that's a lot!!) and the beaver is the national icon!!

this week we're celebrating canada - take your pet to canada for some ice hockey, visit one of their many lakes, maybe your pet wants to visit the ice hotel in quebec....the options are limitless! maybe they'll play in a pile of maple leaves and then head out to have some poutine (fries with cheese curds and gravy) and some tim horton's!!
