Scaredy Cat is looking at the large calendar on the wall at the community center and wonders what all the colored dots mean on the various dates. One of the staff members explained that they indicate activities planned to commemorate holidays and observances. One example given was for January 11th - it is Milk Day. The community center will celebrate this day by having milk and cookies for all the pets who visit that day and there will be a raffle to win a handmade milkshake at the local ice cream shop. Milk Day? Scaredy Cat can't believe his ears!! There's a day to celebrate milk!!! Talk about the dream holiday! He makes a mental note to visit the community center that day for sure! He wonders what other amazing things are celebrated and honored throughout the year that he could get excited about. He plans to do some research on this. Wow - Milk Day!!

This week - we want you to share with us what you think would be the most amazing holiday or observence a pet could ever celebrate. Like Scaredy Cat, would your pet purr at the thought of celebrating all things milk? Maybe it's a day to honor having red fur or feathers. Maybe having a day to celebrate being left-pawed would be a great holiday for all to celebrate. Is a holiday for taking a bubble bath something you'd enjoy? Or one that makes a big deal out of your love of hats up your alley? Tell us all about that perfect holiday that the world can celebrate with you and we'll celebrate! The winner's chosen holiday will be celebrated on January 16th in PnF!
