Once again, while Scaredy Cat and his service dog were out walking and talking, they had suddenly wandered farther into PnF Land than they usually went. They didn’t notice until they saw that self-centered, stingy and bad-tempered mole with delusions of grandeur they had met last year. Oh dear, oh dear, they were in Holy Moley territory!
Holy Moley sensed Scaredy and the dog coming from far away and he recognized them as the culprits who, very rudely and disrespectfully, vanished before they could worship him and hear about all his excellent wormie digging adventures a while back.
“Ugh, I don’t have time for creepy, mean cats and flea infested dogs who will want to steal my stash.” Moley thought “I’ll have to scare them off, so I can have it all to myself!”
So Moley released one of the huge icky flyers he had caught in a spider web that morning (because who wouldn’t be terrified by one of those monsters) and then he proceeded to hide away his stolen canned wormies very deep down his mole hole…

This week we would like to see what burrows look like underground. Who lives in the burrow? How did they decorate their underground homes? Do they hide something there, like Holy Moley does? Maybe a chipmunk lives in the burrow, or a snake, a badger, a groundhog, a mouse…? A turtle might have laid her eggs in one. Show us what you see down the burrow!
