Today in school, Scaredy Cat and Bob learned about the Thanksgiving holidays. Their teacher told them that in Canada, they celebrate Thanksgiving in October and that in the USA, they celebrate Thanksgiving in November. The Americans are preparing to celebrate their Thanksgiving in just a couple of days. She told them that in both countries, it is traditional to make elaborate meals featuring turkey, mashed potatoes, an assortment of vegetable dishes and a variety of different pies and desserts (Bob's favorite part of any meal). They were amazed at the history behind a holiday that focuses on being thankful for so many things. At the end of the class, each pet was asked to share what they are thankful for in their own lives. Scaredy Cat shared how he is thankful for his beloved service dog and for all of his friends that understand him.

This week, we are once again celebrating Thanksgiving. But there's a question that Scaredy Cat has for everyone. Do you celebrate this holiday of thankfulness? Is there a custom where you live where you give thanks? If so, what do you do to celebrate? Are there feasts like in the USA and Canada? Do you gather with friends and family?
