Scaredy Cat and Bob have gone to the fairgrounds where there's a "Scary Fayre" in town for a few weeks. Pets from all over town are in attendance and you can see how much fun they're all having. There are games of chance all over where you can try to win fun prizes. There are rides that will give thrills and chills for the pet who gets excited at the potential scare ahead. There's a queue to get tickets to ride the carousel and and even a few daring pets wanting to go on the ghost train. Bob is already devouring a candy apple, a favorite treat for many when going to the fair. Scaredy Cat, who we all know is a "Nervous Nelly", hangs off to the side of one of the food stalls with JJ. He really wants to have fun with the others, but he's super scared. The fair has lots of scary things to see and participate in and that's what he struggles with. He's well known for being scared of his own shadow and this might be one of those places where his fear will reach new heights. He wonders if coming here was really a good thing.

This week the pets are going to the "Scary Fayre"! Your challenge is to share with us what you and your pet would be doing if you were going to the "Scarey Fayre". Are you like Scaredy Cat, really wanting to be there despite being scared and nervous? Maybe you're one of those thrill seekers and can't wait to take your turn on those rides that give you a huge adrenaline rush! You probably like the rides that are a bit more tame, like the carousel with the multitude of colorful horses. Love the games? Throwing hard balls to knock down multiple heavy objects so that you can win some neat prizes (even some that are a bit "tacky") is what brings you excitement. And there's probably some of you that look forward to the food offerings like Bob. Candy apples. Funnel cakes with powdered sugar. Handmade potato chips (or crisps in some parts of the world) that you can sprinkle malt vinegar and salt on top of, needing lots of napkins afterwards to clean hands and paws. You can't forget the cotton candy (candy floss) - all sticky and sugary sweet! Lemonade stands! Arts and crafts booths! Clowns and farm animals! And music played loud enough that it can be hard to hear your own voice! It's the bestest place to be! Let's go to the fair!!!
