Scaredy Cat
Scaredy Cat, JJ and Bob were having a relaxing day at the community center while enjoying the beautiful spring day.
"Are you already thinking of what theme you want to do for this week’s art challenge?" Bob asked suddenly.
"Yes of course" Scaredy Cat answered while watching JJ happily chasing squirrels in the yard.
"What will it be this week?" Bob asked again.
"When did you last read a book Bob?" Scaredy Cat replied with a question.
"I can't remember, but it's been a while" Bob replied.
"Me too. It's been a while since I last read a book. I’ve missed it" Scaredy Cat said.
"Does this have anything to do with this week’s art challenge?" Bob asked.
"It does. Actually, today marks World Book Day and it gets me thinking of using this opportunity to get everyone to share it through the art challenge. The day mainly focuses on children and young people, hoping to instill in them a love of books and promote reading for pleasure in contributing to their future and development. It also pays tribute to all of those who work behind the scenes to create books for us - writers, publishers, and copywriters" continued Scaredy Cat.
"I'm not a big reader myself but I love all the books I've read while growing up" Bob said.
"Okay, it's decided then, I'm going ahead with this as our weekly art challenge" Scaredy Cat said.

We're celebrating World Book Day through our art this week. It can be an art of your favourite book, an activity involving books or anything in between. Show us how you celebrate books in your art. Happy Reading everyone!
