Scaredy Cat
Scaredy Cat, Bob, and JJ are taking a walk in the neighborhood when Bob asked, "What do you think are behind all these doorways?” Scaredy Cat pondered Bob's question for a moment and replied "Hoomans and their pets live behind these doors". "Ok" said Bob, "but what if there are hidden pathways to secret or unexpected worlds"? "Anything is possible with imagination,” said Scaredy Cat. "That does give me an idea though about this week’s art challenge". Curious, Bob inquired what Scaredy Cat was thinking. Scaredy Cat responded, "We have plenty of door-themed decorations to be imaginative with, so why not use doorways as a theme?" "I love it!" exclaimed Bob. Then the three of them sauntered down the sidewalk letting their imaginations get carried away by all the doorways.

This week we want to see what's behind the doorways in your art scene. Is it an escape to a magical world with fantasy characters or maybe it’s a peek into your everyday world? Perhaps you have favorite memories of watching a child sleeping through the doorway or you received your first kiss at the front door? We are excited to see what you come up with in the gallery this week with all the doorways. Time to start knocking on a few doors to get a peek inside!
