EXTRA Donor Reward!

You have found a most unusual plant in the plant shop in PnF land. It appears exciting and has a face that looks as if it could almost speak to you. You turn away, unsure if this is the plant you want today. You hear a rustling, and then you hear a voice.

“Take me home, oh please take me home and give me tender care. I like a semi-sunny window, and you only have to feed me once a week. I won’t be any bother, and in return, I can give you hours of stimulating conversation and play board games with you.”

The plant did speak, of course, it did. This is PnF land, and anything is possible. You ask the plant some questions.

The plant produces a wide grin, waving leafy arms around, and says, “I eat whatever you are eating, bits of cheese, perhaps some leftover lasagna, or a nice bit of roast, and I get along well with others. Oh, please, won’t you take me home? This shop is boring, and I long to belong to a family.”

You think about the offer. It is a most unusual plant and would be a great friend—you hope, on days when you want to stay inside and read or play games.

Are you ready for Halloween? It's my favourite night of the year! Everything about the dark and mysterious fills my October with wonder and excitement as I gear up for the biggest party of the year - my famous Halloween Party! At least, I think it's famous. No one has shown up yet so I guess I don't really know ...

But enough about parties or not-parties. There's more to this spook-tacular month than a party! I love going for late night walks in a dark forest, sharing scary stories around a fire, even haunted houses! I thought about operating a haunted house once, but it was a lot more work than I thought it would be! I'd rather be scared than do the scaring anyway.

Speaking of being scared, have you ever gone ghost hunting? It's one of my favourite year-round activities! Some pets say ghosts are more active in October, especially at Halloween, but I think that's just a silly rumour to make the month seem more scary. Oh - I was on my way out to look for ghosts right now, would you like to come?

Hey! Where are you going? Would you like to sit down with me? I have been reading this fascinating book of fairy tales. Look at this picture of an ogre, I guess this is supposed to represent me, but I don’t look like this. Sure, I am green. Yes, my teeth are pointy, and my ears are large. It is true I am strong, but as far as my temperament goes, I am not quick to anger, nor am I nasty, and I certainly don’t do the things stated in these tales.

I have found a sweet house in this village of PnF and am moving in. I could help you move furniture or carry logs for the fireplace, and I would love to join you and your pets for walks in the woods. I know a lot about woodlore.

Yeehaw! Look at me ride; I can ride anything. I don’t need a saddle; I hang and on and go. I love the wind in my fur and watching the ground move past me as I ride along trails or on open plains.

I can ride forever, but if I am riding a horse, I must stop now and then to rest the horse. Bikes, motorscooters, snowmobiles, I can ride them all. Why not join me on a ride across the plains? You may need some goggles to keep the bugs out of your eyes.
