What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!

There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

Episode 2/26

@ Big City Square
Dragon opened her rucksack to change her hat. THUMPER could see Dragon had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” THUMPER asked Dragon.

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

@ Curbside Pickup
While Dragon paused to drink in the view, Hamstein started scrabbling in his rucksack for his portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Hamstein?” asked Dragon. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

Throw a paw in the air and hail a cab from the curbside, it's better than standing in the rain, getting wet! Or if not a there's always the bus stop!

@ Cobblestone Court
"You know, the settings on your camera have to be different for a night scene," remarked Dragon.
"I suppose this tour is a good opportunity to learn all about that, Dragon!" said Esmerelda.

Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

“Was that the call of a nightjar, Dragon?” whispered Stingray Mulder. "We're not usually up when they're out and about!"

Dragon and Plumeria were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture standing on either side of the new attraction they had just seen!

Dragon and Shorty were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture standing on either side of the new attraction they had just seen!

The golden sun dipped slowly below the horizon, showering the travelers in its warm glow, inviting everyone to enjoy the splendor.

@ Clock Tower
Dragon and Morri agreed that the variety of environments on their expedition was the best ever! Dragon and Morri exchanged opinions on which their favourite attraction had been so far!

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Dragon is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when pRINCESS comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says pRINCESS. Dragon looks down and sees something valuable. pRINCESS generously lets Dragon keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival
“Hey, Dragon, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Dragon shook paws with Choose a name. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" she said.

“It's a lot darker than it was in the Labyrinth that time, isn't it, Dragon?” remarked Scaredy Cat, a little nervously.
“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Dragon.

Madelyn was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Dragon unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which she succeeded in knocking Madelyn’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Madelyn. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

“Everything is always darkest just before the dawn,” intoned THUMPER.
“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Dragon.

“What have you got in your tote bag, Toby?” asked Dragon. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Dragon,” responded Toby. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

Dragon has seen enough buildings to plan her own town, and is tired out. Harald agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
