Scaredy Cat and Bob have taken a trip to Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and they run into a pet that Scaredy Cat hasn't seen in years. It's Dragon Glas, his friend Kaida's cousin from Ireland. "Dia duit Scaredy Cat! Tá sé chomh deas tú a fheiceáil arís!" Scaredy Cat hears his name but has no clue what else is being said. Dragon Glas gets out his pocket translator to help with his English. "I'm so sorry!! I forgot you didn't speak Gaelic! I said "Hello Scaredy Cat! It's so nice to see you again!" This is such a wonderful surprise and I look forward to show you the green land I live in!! As what was the first time they met, Dragon Glas is all into the color green and again, insists on everypet wear a green hat. Scaredy Cat isn't so into the hat but Bob is into just about anything thrown his way. Bob jumps on a green scooter as a green bus carrying some green pets rumbles along the road. Scaredy Cat hopes that he can survive the language barrier, although Dragon Glas does have a translator. And will he turn green before this holiday is over?

St. Patrick's day is coming and with St. Patrick's day comes green stuff!!! Shamrocks. Grass. Green Puffballs. Even green eggs and ham (hey - there's an actual book folks!!). This week we're gonna go green!! Create scenes with your pets enjoying the color that is an indicator of spring being around the corner! And....going green isn't necessarily about the color as it is about environmental awareness to save our planet. Using paper instead of plastic. Using a resuable water bottle instead of buying cases of water. Creating a compost pile to turn your scraps into fertilizer. Whatever your interpretation is for the green theme, Go Green!!
