Scaredy Cat had gone to Bob's house for lunch today, where they enjoyed a variety of small sandwiches, macaroni salad and some potato chips, along with glasses of ice-cold lemonade. After lunch, they went outside to enjoy the sunshine for a little while. When they came back into the house, Scaredy Cat was completely amazed at the abundance of cakes and sweets lining the countertop and table. Bob, on the other paw, was super excited. From the moment they stepped into the kitchen, Bob chattered non-stop about cakes, candies and anything else sweet. As he started eating a popsicle, he begins to talk about ice cream. Ice cream sundaes, ice cream "sandwiches", ice cream on a stick, ice cream floats. Vanilla ice cream. Rocky Road ice cream. Monkey Chunk ice cream. He just kept going on and on and on. It was almost more than Scaredy Cat could possibly bear. If only he could get a word in edgewise, he would tell Bob that he really enjoyed his visit but needed to go home to take a nap because he was tired from an exciting day with his friend, where in reality, he needed to escape this non-stop yapping about desserts.

This week....let's talk about....whatever it is that you want to talk about. Do you love ice cream as much as Bob? Do you enjoy reading? I bet you love to talk about your pet! Some might want to talk about important topics, such as relieving hunger or the scientific advances in medicine. Scaredy Cat's hooman can talk about cooking as long as someone will listen. Is your favorite thing to talk about your family? Or maybe it's all about collecting seashells whenever you visit the beach. Talk about what matters the most to you. There are all sorts of things that you can talk about and we can't wait to find out what it is.
