The weather is starting to cool down a little, so Scaredy Cat and Bob decide to go the local nature trail for a leisurely walk. The leaves are falling from the trees and litter the path, crunching under the pair's paws and feet. They stop to take a short break and take in the view. While sipping on their bottles of water (gotta stay hydrated), they each take notice of the variety of wildlife around them. Bob plops himself down along the edge of the pathway and is enchanted with the little bunny and racoon peeking from the treeline. Bob has his camera near his leg, ready to take pictures when the moment seems right. JJ has noticed a beautiful bird flying into the wooded area and watches it intently. Scaredy Cat sits quietly next to JJ and breathes deeply as the scents from the animals and foliage come at him from all directions. This is the kind of day that he truly enjoys. Sadly, it can't last forever so he wants to be able to he thinks about how he can capture this lovely outing in his mind so that he can write about it in his journal.

The weather is starting to change where Scaredy Cat and his hooman live and this week we'll be sharing what you might do as the weather changes near you. Do you live in an area where you can actually see and feel the four seasons throughout the year? Or are someplace where you get pretty much the same thing day in and day out? Some places experience dry warm weather one minute and then in the next, the skies open up and it's raining cats and dogs! In other areas, there's a very short period of warmth before the colder temperatures start to return. Are you one that likes the variety of the four seasons? Or do you prefer something more steady, such as being in a climate that is always hot, always cold or, even better, always just that perfect temperature that allows you to enjoy what that type of climate brings? Whether it's winter, summer, spring or autumn, share what you enjoy the most!!
