Scaredy Cat and Bob have taken a trip to spend the day on the farm. There's a huge commotion as Mrs. Teal Bug shows the pair the horror of her baby being stuck in its egg, and she's terrified that he'll be a caterpillar forever unless he is freed. She's screaming at Tommy that this is all his fault and of course Tommy had nothing to do with this current situation (he seems to get blamed for everything bad that happens). She is shrieking in a high pitched tone which makes Scaredy Cat's brain hurt. He wonders if there's anything that anypet can do to help. Should they get a hammer to break the egg and free Mrs. Teal Bug's baby? Do those incubator thingies work in speeding up the hatching time? How exactly do you help a critter stuck inside its egg? All he knows is that something needs to be done and done soon or his brain will explode. Whose brilliant idea was it to come here? In the meantime, the rest of the farm animals seem oblivious to the scene developing nearby. And not paying attention to what is going on, Pearl Ham photobombs the filming for the 5 o'clock news.

This week's art challenge is to help Mrs. Teal Bug save her baby from eternal caterpillarhood, while at the same time, exonerate Tommy from being blamed once again for potential disaster from happening. How will your pet solve the problem? What plan can they come up with to save the day? How can you help this poor little caterpillar escape from its egg? Can you do this on your own? Maybe you gather some friends and brainstorm ideas of how this problem can be solved? Do you need fancy tools or is it so simple that you wonder why Mrs. Teal Bug couldn't figure it out herself? And how will you prove that Tommy is 100% innocent? What kind of evidence can you dig up that will show that Tommy isn't to blame this time? Do you have good sleuthing skills? Maybe hiring a private detective would be a great idea! Your help is needed to keep the baby teal bug's life cycle from being doomed and Tommy from being grounded for life.
