Scaredy Cat and his classmates are at the local theater on a field trip to watch a performance of the famous musical, "Annie". The lead character, Annie, is singing a song called "Tomorrow". As the actress is singing, Scaredy Cat's mind starts to wander and begins to think about what he can do tomorrow. There's no school tomorrow and there's lots of things that start to come to mind and he wonders how he'd fit all of them into one day. Sleeping late is the first thing he thinks of. But what else can he do? Maybe he can catch up his reading - he has a small pile of books that he borrowed from the library that he needs to read before they have to be returned. His mom had asked him to sort out his belongings in the attic - he really hasn't kept things too tidy there lately. But that means work! Maybe he can invite Bob over and they can bake some cookies together - chocolate chip cookies. MMMMmmmm.....that sounds good. Then they can eat them while drinking some nice cold milk with them. His head comes out of the clouds as the actress loudly sings her final notes as the scene ends.

This week we'll be talking about tomorrow! There's an expression "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today". Well....for this week, we're not going to worry about waiting til tomorrow whatever you can delay. Do you have a pile of laundry that needs to be tended to? Wait til tomorrow and instead, put your feet up and listen to your favorite music. Dinner needs to be planned? Let's do take-out tonight and plan tomorrow's dinner - well - tomorrow! Do you have a free day tomorrow? Let's plan on doing something fun - maybe make up a picnic and go to the park (weather permitting of course). Jump in the car and take a ride to someplace you've never been to! But don't wait til tomorrow to get your art challenge entry done!! ^_^
