Scaredy Cat was putting up a new picture frame on the wall when Bob arrived for tea.
"Wow, that's a great picture of JJ you have there. Any special occasion?" Bob asked.
"Well, September is actually a National Service Dog month. To honour my lovely JJ, I had a new photo of her taken and framed. Isn't she lovely?" Scaredy Cat said proudly.
"That is a great picture of her indeed" Bob agreed.
"Let me put out the snacks and tea and we can continue chatting" Scaredy Cat said.
After all the snacks and tea are placed on the table, they had a relaxing time while JJ is playing outside, chasing butterflies.
"This got me thinking of this week’s art theme for the community center. Why don't we have a theme of service pets and comfort items? As you know, aside from dogs, there are diverse types of animals that are used as service animals too. For example, cats, horses, seals, and many more. They are all trained to handle distinct types of mental and health aid to hoomans. Not forgetting certain items that help people with anxiety and stress related issues. You know, like Linus from Peanut and his blanket" Scaredy Cat said.
"That's interesting. I know some people who has stuff toys or stress balls to help with that too" Bob retorted.
"Okay then, health and emotional support items will be this week’s theme. Now we can have our snacks and enjoy the last few weeks if summer before autumn shows itself" said Scaredy Cat happily.
This week’s challenge is all about health and emotional support items. It can be a service animals or certain objects. We would love to see what everyone will produce and the story behind it all.
