Weston Plaza is buzzing with lots of visitors today! Scaredy Cat and Bob, along with pets from all over the area, are getting ice cream cones and sundaes at the local sweet shop to celebrate "Ice Cream Day". The sweet shop is offering plenty of options for the pets to enjoy their favorite cold treat. Ice cream cones with sprinkles. Sundaes with more than one flavor of ice cream, topped with sauces, syrups and of course, whipped cream and a cherry on top. And with the weather being a bit on the "warm" side, having some ice cream is a great way to try to beat the heat. Bob, being Bob, isn't satisfied with just one ice cream cone - he has to have two - and each one is different! Scaredy Cat will be happy with just his little sundae with two small scoops of ice cream and some cookie sticks. I scream! You scream! We all scream for ice cream!! July 19th is Ice Cream Day and we're all looking for that local shop where we can indulge in some of that creamy goodness that comes in all sorts of flavors! Believe it or not, this sweet holiday was actually started by the late Ronald Reagan (who was once the President of the USA) back in 1984.
