This week Scaredy Cat felt he just had to get out of the house. He was feeling nervous, so he took JJ the support dog with him. Scaredy Cat didn’t know where he wanted to go, he was just over being indoors all the time, so he let JJ wander around as she pleased.
JJ doesn’t get a lot of freedom as a support dog, but once she realized it was her day to do as she pleased, she turned into a park. Suddenly, they were surrounded by all kinds of dogs. Scaredy cat had never imagined there could be such a variety of dogs --- big ones, little ones, deep barking ones, high yipping ones, tail wagging ones, every colour you ever saw! It made him very nervous, because dogs and cats aren’t meant to get along, but with JJ there, Scaredy Cat found he had a free pass into the world of dogs. Which reminded him that as a kitty, he had been insulted and told he was half dog by the other kitties, just because he was different.

This week we are celebrating dogs!! Big dogs! Little dogs! Dogs that hardly bark! Dogs that don't stop barking! Furry dogs and bald dogs! There are so many varieties of dogs that one can't possibly keep track of them all!! Do you like dogs? Do you have dogs? If you do, do you treat them like a child? Do you buy them toys and cute costumes? Do you take them to the dog park to have play dates with their doggy friends? Dogs can be so much fun that we want to know what you would do if you have a dog or two (or even three)!! Woof! Woof!!
