Scaredy Cat was tired of the cold weather and decided he'd had enough of frozen paws and frosty fur. He surprised his best friend Bob when he told him that he wanted to go to Hawaii and go surfing. "Surfing? Scaredy Cat wants to go surfing?" Bob was amazed! When he couldn't hide his surprise, Scaredy Cat explained that he was going to try to try more new things and what better way to start then by going surfing? After arriving on the island of Maui and getting settled in their hotel room, the pair headed to the beach where they rented surf boards and strolled out to the water. They both managed to get on and keep their balance as the gentle surf carried them away from the shoreline. They seemed to be doing fairly well for beginners. Now, as long as no one tells them that there's a shark swimming near by, this might go really well for them!

This week, we're heading to Hawaii for some fun in the sun as we go surfing! The water's warm and it's inviting your pet to grab their board and hit the waves running!! Will your pet take to the water like a fish or will they be afraid to even dip their paws into the edge? Are they willing to try something new and give surfing a shot like Scaredy Cat? Are they a total natural and can compete with the best of them or will they wipe out? *Go ahead - admit you just sang the song "Wipe Out" in your head made popular by The Safaris* Let's put your surfing suits on, wax your board and let's hit the surf!!
