X marks the spot where the elusive Kraken was last spotted - just east of Laughing Rock. Keen eyes from the crows nest spotted the trail of ink leading north east, but never a sign of the Kraken himself was seen, save by the fortunate few who returned from the sea with wild tales. Some told of seeing two Kraken together. These were disbelieved by most, who thought the tellers had been at the rum a little too much
