[desc=0] I am Aera Tempora, the very first butterfly in the land of PnF. I oversee the seasons change and the seasonal shop.

I am friendly and colorful and all butterflies descend from me, they are my family, and I have hired a few of them to give you the weather reports and cool gifts every day.

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 1
[desc=0] In the beginning of times, when the land of Pets ‘n’ Friends was populated only by magical creatures, when unicorns and dragons roamed the planet, the weather beings were awfully unruly. For a couple of centuries, they had been acting out. Clouds blew clouds and rainbows whenever they wanted, mist kitties were forming everywhere, happy suns shone in the night, tornad’ohs jumped around constantly, blizzard bears conjured up their snow storms in the middle of rain falls and every other strange weather occurrence that you can possibly imagine.

Aera Tempora visits Northern Territory for Australia Day 2017 :)
[desc=0] Aera is taking a little break from telling her story to go go Down Under :) She loves to visit all the great places in the world, and she likes to go and celebrate with the natives when there are special occasions :) This year she wanted to see how huge crocs celebrate Australia Day and join in :D She was, however, a little surprised to see them partying like there was no tomorrow, doing acrobatics and running around on two legs....

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 2
[desc=0] All the other magicals were confused, and they were annoyed with the conditions, because it was pointless to plan parties, games or hunts. So the elders gathered to find a solution. They knew this would be almost impossible because there were both blue and green unicorns present at the summit, and everyone knows they never agree on anything. Brown trolls were also attending, and they are not known for being highly intelligent. The ghosts who were there just hovered and tried to scare everyone instead of contributing to the discussion. The ancient lone mummy got his bandages all tangled up in a green dragon’s tail and wings. Blue scaly monsters stuffed everything that looked like food in their huge mouths, thus unable to speak coherently. The nessies kept hiding, so no one could find them and the wisps were trying to lead the clumsy purple trolls astray.

Valentine's Day 2017
[desc=0] Though Aera is usually a very proud and poised butterfly, on this Valentine's day she found herself acting like a little kid in the Seasonal shop when she saw a tall, dark, handsome stranger arrive in her neighborhood... Unfortunately Aera was not the only one, who noticed....

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 3
[desc=0] The oldest of them all, a midnight dragon who lost his fire in a bet long ago, finally stood up and called everyone to order. Though he could not breathe fire, he still had the respect of all magicals and they listened to his forceful voice, as he summed up the situation. When the dragon was finished, he asked for suggestions of how to solve these bad weather problems.

But no one came forward. All the magicals looked at each other in despair, how would they ever get to have parties or play games without them being ruined by the weather critters?

Finally a tiny purple unicorn, who was there as a stand-in for her grandmother, raised her tiny hoof and started speaking in a tiny voice. She had the idea of magically forging a beautiful entity from a little specimen of all the different weather types, a special weather being, who would then have the power to control all kinds of weather.

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 4
[desc=0] The old dragon was very impressed by the tiny unicorn, and as he repeated her suggestion to all the others who could not hear her speak, the magicals quickly turned themselves upside down and squealed loudly. Back then this was a sign of admiration and agreement.

And so the old dragon sent out a team to gather up all the specimens, and asked that the three most skillful magicals; a wise old grandmother tree, a blue unicorn who knew all the new magic and the master of potions: a green witch, to meet him at his mountain cave in a fortnight, where they would brew the potion to create this special weather being.

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 5
[desc=0] When the day came, tiny purple Pippa Unicorn was very nervous. She had never been to a dragon's cave before, and she was a little scared of dragons, witches, grandmother trees and blue unicorns. They were all so strong and they knew all kinds of magic, one of them might turn her into a flower or something gross like that. Purple unicorns hate flowers because they smell so awful.

But Pippa was also curious why the old dragon had asked her to come, and she was very proud, because she had impressed all the magicals at the summit and it was her idea to do this in the first place, so she ventured out of her family home and went to the mountain cave.

When she arrived, the others were already brewing the potion. She was told to come closer and have a look. In the cauldron she saw fog, snowflakes, raindrops, sunshine, wind, rainbow pieces, starlight, cloud fluff, hail and some other less easily defined substances. The potion smelled almost as disgusting as flowers, but Pippa found everything so exciting that she forgot both her fears and the odor.

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 6
[desc=0] The potion needed to simmer for 14 hours, 12 minutes and 45 seconds to be just right, so the magic creatures lay on their backs and counted stars outside the cave… Not for long of course, because a happy sun suddenly shone its light all over, and a tornad’oh swept across the cave terrace at the same time, picking up Pippa and the grandmother tree and dropping them at the foot of the mountain, so they had to climb all the way back up.

Finally the potion was done and the old dragon called them in. Pippa still didn’t know exactly what she was supposed to do, but she followed the rest of them. The tree, the witch, the unicorn and the dragon formed a circle around Pippa. The dragon handed her a purple bottle and told her to drink the content.

Mother's Day with Aera :)
[desc=0] Aera and all the other NPC's want to celebrate Mother's Day, so they went to the candy store to get presents for their mom's...

But... Aera doesn't have a mom, because she was the first of her kind, Flounder has a trillion moms, because all the fish in the sea could be his mother, Scaredy cat's mom is a human, Storia left her home and mom behind to be the historian of PnF, MIT's mom is overseas on vacation, Ragdoll Prince’s mom is busy getting the dungeons cleaned out, Skeezle's mom has gone missing and he doesn’t know if he can find her in time, Bob's mom lives in the sky, but he does have a guardian, Hubert's mom is trolling somewhere unknown, Cupig's mom, Mrs. Swine has forbidden him to bring her gifts after he once landed on her head with a big Christmas gift and she was knocked out, Billy's mom is a starfish and starfish get all gifts wet, N2P2C2's mom was dismantled, Boris only has a dad and Joy's mom, well you would never guess, but she hates getting presents :O So they all decided (for now) to give little Yap Spaniels' mom, the sweet Missy Spaniels a present and they convinced his dad, Jack Spaniels, to help them get the gifts in the house without her noticing.

Little Yap is a happy pup and he and his dad can't wait to see the look on mom's face, when she gets so many presents for Mother's Day :)

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 7
[desc=0] Pippa now knew her purpose at the meeting and she was scared. This was the potion they had just brewed, and they wanted her to drink it. She didn't know enough about magic to realize, that a living, conscious being could not be forged from pouring the potion onto a rock like she had imagined. No, they needed a live magical to drink it and by doing that the magical was going to be transformed into the special weather being which Pippa herself had suggested they make. Pippa tried to find a way not to drink the potion, because she did not know how she could ever see her family again if she was a weird weather creature, and she wanted to go home now. She told the dragon, that she had to go smell some flowers and attempted to break the circle and run out of the cave, but she couldn't, the circle was strong as a brown troll.

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 8
[desc=0] The old dragon spoke to her in a surprisingly soft voice, the years without dragon fire had obviously worked their magic, and he said to Pippa, that she had nothing to worry about. Sure she would not look like a unicorn, and sure she might freak out her family at first, but she was allowed to visit them anytime she wanted, and life as a special weather being would be very exciting for her. Pippa should be very proud to be the chosen one. Once Pippa had calmed down and accepted her purpose, the dragon took her hoof and held it while she drank the potion.

The elders whispered a very complicated spell each while still forming the circle around Pippa, and she felt the potion warmly spreading through her tiny body. She was lifted up in the air and then the transformation began, four wings in different colors grew from her back, her uni horn evaporated, she turned green, grew two more legs, shed her hoofs, her ears turned into antennae and her head and body were rounded and looked like five balls of yeti yarn glued together. A dark green mark showed up on her chest, it had the shape of her new appearance.

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 9
[desc=0] Pippa was gently brought back down, but when she touched the cave floor with her new feet, she was startled by the strange feeling and jumped a little. Once her feet left the floor, her wings started flapping and Pippa found herself flying around the cave bumping into everything because she had no idea yet of how to control the direction in which she flew. Pippa thought it was great fun and she laughed and laughed, realizing that her voice was now a lot more forceful than the tiny pip she used to have.

[desc=0] The old dragon called her to order. “Pippa, you are now in command of all weather creatures in the land of Pets ‘n’ Friends, you are their queen and you will treat them firmly, but fairly and with love. You are the first of your kind, and we have named you Aera Tempora, which means era and times. We decided that your species will be called butterfly, because the word for colorful in the ancient language, Petsalian, is butter and also, you fly!” Pippa was happy, she had a purpose and a mission, and she was a queen and the first butterfly on the planet. She thought her new name was very majestic and she was going to make everyone proud, they were not going to regret giving her that potion! And they didn’t!

The Story of Aera Tempora Part 11
[desc=0] It took Aera Tempora a year to get all the weather creatures in order and come up with the best plan to keep them that way, but once she had thought to divide every year into four periods, seasons as she called them, they complied with her schedule almost all the time. There was an occasional blizzard bear blowing in summertime, a happy sun had fallen in love with a yellow faced moon and she sometimes shone in the night when sneaking over to see him, oh, and one of the tornad’ohs liked to spin around calm lakes all year round… But besides that, the seasons were designed for all the weather creatures to have their own time to shine, pour, fall, blow, flood and whoosh, and everyone was happy. The magicals could finally plan and hold all kinds of parties, hunts and games and the weather creatures were not always reprimanded and ostracized.

Aera Tempora is still the queen of the weather creatures today, and she now has her own seasonal shop, where she helps the pets of PnF Land sell and buy their seasonal items. She has seen many seasons change and thousands of years go by, and all her descendants are like her: smart, friendly and colorful. You probably know them; they are the weather girls and the butterflies in Aera’s seasonal shop.

Questing with Aera and Piratical
[desc=0] Her new friend, Piratical, is taking Aera on a fun treasure hunt, or a quest as she calls it, they are trying to find Skeezle's gold and they have a map to go by... On their way they have met lots of funny (and not so funny) creatures. Some of them have helped out, one sprayed ink at them and two tried to catch them.... But the butterflies are having lots of fun :D

[desc=0] Aye-Ayestropher took me on a quest. We ended up in a very scary attic laboratory where we found a Dr. Rat Finkensen doing uncanny and spooky experiments.... We also found sweets on the way that someone dropped, I think maybe Bob was around when that happened....

[desc=0] Joy, Cupig and I heard whispers that Flounder, Jack and Skeezle are planning a sneak attack on our snow fort, so we are reinforcing it and preparing to launch a huge pile of snowballs :D We've called Bob to come help us too, but he eats a lot of the snowballs; apparently they look like candyfloss :D

[desc=0] I decided to try out for the Winter Olympics... I was watching a blue footed **** skate, and to be honest, I think that if she can go to the winter games, then so can I, I have six legs, that has to give me an advantage... So, I am going to skate and I might even win a medal... :)
