As unpredictable as the weather, you never know which mood wind wisps will be in as they whisk by you. They could be as calm as a gentle breeze on your skin or exhibit the fury of a tornado, so adopt at your own risk.

I just came out of a toasty oven which warmed me up nicely because it is cold outside, and I am ready to be decorated. All you need to do is assemble your favourite candies and make some icing, and maybe if you want to take a walk with me outside, throw a scarf around my neck.

When I was a young bundle of tawny feathers, I danced for the sheer joy of playing. Now that I am all grown up, I will still dance. I will dance to form a bond. I will dance to strengthen that bond through the years. I will dance and call to communicate if I want to be left alone or if I want to play.

The Red-crowned crane, with the scientific name of Grus japonensis, is one of the largest birds in the world, standing at 158 centimeters (5 feet), with a wing span of 2.5 meters (8 feet). The weather was partly cloudy today. So I want into the garden but that pesky farmer has it fenced off. How could they? Don’t they know bunnies need lettuce and parsley? It’s a very important part of our diet. Just like hay. And don’t forget the carrots. But I shall pass on the cabbage. It gives me gas. And boy oh boy my toots are quite stinky!

My parents say my egg hatched on the rainiest day they've ever seen. I don't know if that's true, my cousins say their parents have said the same thing! True or not, I always find myself drawn to the rain and love basking in the clouds with my siblings.

Beauty can be found anywhere, and these fluffy little birds prize the beauty spots on their fluffy cheeks. They are so taken with them that they coo and cuddle each other and let other pets know that their beauty spots are where it’s at. Will they start a new trend? Only time will tell.

No! No! No! You can NOT use me for your dance number as a feather boa! I know I'm irresistible, but hold yourself together! Certainly there is a lot of me to go around, but it doesn't mean I can be worn!

I am a cat who can fly, an owl who has nine lives. I am an Owlcat who can climb a tree, roost in its branches, fly to the next tree and always find the sunniest places for another nap. With a tail to wrap around my nose to keep it warm, ears that hear every sound and eyes that won’t miss a single movement. Am I a new type of animal or one you have just never met before?

Some pets cannot see a map without guessing what lies beyond the edges. Where does that river go? What is on the other side of that mountain? What hides within that forest? If the thought of unknown lands makes your pet long to know them before others do, take to the road, or the skies, with this dragon!

Perhaps you would be so kind as to take me home with you or perhaps light a campfire. It’s a little chilly with no flesh on. Did you know that? But I can still be friendly and wave.

Oh, my days are so busy, but I am never too busy to stop and have a chat with the elves, the fairies and the reindeer. I gather news from all over, and I have secret tunnels that go through the mansion, so I can get anywhere I need to go very quickly.
