What is it about cornfields that inspired so many famous painters to put brush to canvas? An easy answer is that the growing of corn was so much part of the lives of the ordinary people in England, Europe and America that the countryside was covered in corn so the scenes were hard to avoid for the en plein air artists.

Rusty finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Purple is AWESOME is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Rusty pockets a map of Exina as a momento. The guidebook says:
