Rusty and Angel are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

@ Caballo Carousel
The ride had started off fairly gently, but was now gathering speed at a great rate! Hadee Nidmorth and Rusty had met just as it was starting and had managed to shake paws and say “Hello” before the ride deprived them both of breath!

@ Roller Coaster Boaster
"Now it's night-time, this place reminds me a little of our tour round the Labyrinth that time," said Screech slightly uneasily.
"Don't worry, Screech," said Rusty jovially. "No scorpions, snakes or spiders here! The thrills are of a—different nature!"

Your cart reaches the top of the slope and then there is a moment of calm when it pauses before it starts on its helter-skelter journey downwards -- until it hits the next climb back upwards!

"Just listen to that old fairground pipe organ, Azinza!" said Rusty. "I love the painted figures, especially the conductor keeping time at the front. You can hear the music all over the fairground!"
"It certainly adds to the atmosphere," said Azinza. "Hey, the ride's about to start! Let's see if we can hear the music from the top!"

Tigger got carefully down from the ride, stumbling slightly and holding tightly onto the sides. "I say, you do look a bit green, Tigger, old thing!" said Rusty. "I'm reminded of when you got seasick on our Crocodile Creek trip!"
"I was not seasick," said Tigger with dignity. "I had merely eaten something that disagreed with me."

“Hi, Rusty!” called out FLEECE. “Are you going to join me in having a tasty snack before we go on the other rides?” Rusty ordered his own portion, and FLEECE passed a paper serviette to him.

“Hey, Brujula!” called out Rusty, as they shook paws. “This is quite a change from Snow Beach, isn’t it? I thought I’d got frostbite there! Here, have some of this yummy snack.”

“Hello again, Rusty!” called Snarky. “Do you want to join me on this ride?”
“You bet—let me just finish my ice cream!” Snarky waited while Rusty had the last lick of ice cream and munched the last inch of cornet, then they excitedly queued up for the ride!

Ferris wheels are named after George W. Ferris, a US engineer from Pittsburgh, who built the first one for the World Expo in Chicago in 1893. Expo visitors found unexpected excitement and novelty. Not only the Ferris wheel but the amazing new wonder that ran it—electricity—were presented for the first time in America.

“This is so great, Ziggy!” enthused Rusty. “All this buzz and excitement with the rides, the food, these fun things to buy, and the carnival music playing all around—I’m so happy we’re here!”

Rusty came up to the snackbar where the vendor was just handing over a very large portion to fresh. "Gosh, fresh, you're like those ravenous guinea pigs in Meadowlands! I'd never seen animals eating with such diligence before!"
