Pricilla and Jewels are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground North
All the fun of the fair is here to provide your pet with entertainment and thrills, from waterslide to big wheel. And has your pet a strong enough stomach for a death-defying rollercoaster ride? To help restore your pet's equilibrium after all the excitements of the fairground rides, there are stalls selling hot potato snacks, popcorn, toffee apples, candy and delicious cakes and other yummy delights made from the autumn harvest produce! We hope everypet will leave clutching at least one of the fun carnival novelties!

Fairings is the traditional name for edible souvenirs sold at fairs throughout England. These ginger fairings became associated with Cornish fairs and are still popular in the region.

Pricilla came up to the snackbar where the vendor was just handing over a very large portion to Knot A Nitwit. "Gosh, Knot A Nitwit, you're like those ravenous guinea pigs in Meadowlands! I'd never seen animals eating with such diligence before!"

From the queue, Pickles nervously eyed the fairground ride whirling beside himself and Pricilla. “What if the cable breaks?” he asked. “Oh, that won’t be a problem!” said Pricilla airily. “They can always get another one!”

“The trouble with eating this, Zoey,” observed Pricilla, “is that it’s very moreish. You really don’t want to stop at one portion!”
”Another go on that roller coaster will put a crimp on your appetite quite nicely, I’ve found!” said Zoey.

@ Pommes Frites Treat
"Would you like a fork with that, Pricilla?" asked Pekoe, as their respective servings of food were placed on the counter in front of them.
"No, that's fine, thank you, Pekoe! I'm just going to dive in!" (which, in a manner of speaking, she then did).

Lunaray and Pricilla watched the antics on the waterslide as they stood in the line of pets waiting to board the next ride. "Remember when Foxy leant too far over the bridge in Meadowlands that time, and fell in the pond with a huge splash?" asked Pricilla. "My stomach muscles ached from laughing for days!"

Pricilla encountered Mischief at the fairground. “Have you been on this ride yet, Mischief?” asked Pricilla. “It’s quite an experience!”

The slides were built to a height of between 70 ft - 80 ft (21-24 m), had a 50 degree drop. These slides became popular with the Russian upper class."Russian mountains" remains the term for roller coasters in many languages, such as Spanish (la montaña rusa), Italian (montagne russe), and French (les montagnes russes). Ironically, the Russian term for roller coaster, "amerikanskie gorki", translates literally as "American mountains."

"You said that about the toffee apples, the popcorn, the cinnamon buns, the candy floss and the gingerbread. You'll have to hire a lorry to carry it all home!" said Pricilla.

@ Sunset Thrills
The ride had started off fairly gently, but was now gathering speed at a great rate! Lady Aelfgifu and Pricilla had met just as it was starting and had managed to shake paws and say “Hello” before the ride deprived them both of breath!

As sunset falls, you enjoy the ever-changing view as you chug a little further upwards and then pause as each pod takes on its precious cargo of pets eager to enjoy the ride. Then when all the pods are full, the wheel starts to turn, building up speed!
