This is probably a camera effect, but it gives the rose a cool, distinctive beauty that sets it apart from the normal colour. Dried flowers are always rendered more beautiful when sprayed with silver paint, for example, for Christmas decorations. It is like a fresh fall of snow over a landscape, which beautifies the scene in every case!

This beautiful room in the baroque style is just the place for an evening soirée with soloists singing along to the the pianoforte. With the heavy curtains drawn against the evening cold and dark and the candles lit in the ornate sconces, it would be a memorable night!

This plant has many names: lunaria annua, garden moon viole, Judas Schilling (or Pfennig), silver thaler and Honesty. In the spring and summer this plant bears bright violet flowers, but the silver fruit pods are also very attractive and useful in floral arrangements.
