“Sigh…where do you think he can be Sammy? He was supposed to return hours ago. It doesn’t take that long to set up tents at the fayre.” As Tommy stared out the window in despair and worry for his brother all he got was a meow in response from Sammy the Cat.

“I cannot sit here any longer!” exclaimed Tommy. “We must go find him! Something must have happened at the fayre! He always comes home for dinner. He is never late. Let’s gather all our friends and supplies and go see if we can get him. Are you coming Sammy?” Meow?

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 3/25

“Now listen here Sammy. He said he was going to go to the fayre to help put up tents. But where is that? How do we find that? Wait? What’s that you have? A newspaper?!?! Huh…it has a job ad circled! By golly that must be it! Sammy you are a genius!” Meow!

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 4/25

“Now how are we going to get in? I imagine they are going to charge us.” ponders Tommy. “There must be a golden ticket or something. Some admit all to look for your missing slash kidnapped brother!” Suddenly, seemingly from nowhere tickets appeared in a magazine that fell from the sky. “Huh? Oh thanks Bruce! Wanna come along? I’ve already got my bike ready here for Sammy and me and with your wings you would be good to fly.” Afraid of bats, even the friendly sort such as Bruce, Sammy just meows as usual.

“We must be on the right track team! Chocolate and flavoured water are staples of Henry’s diet. He never goes anywhere with out them. If we just keep heading this way we are sure to find him and we will get you your dinner Sammy.” Meow…

“Noooo!!!!! This cannot be true! This is Henry’s favourite shirt! Something terrible must have happened to him! I, I…I just I do not know what to do! Should we call the authorities? Or…or I just don’t know! Wait, what’s that Bruce? Taste it? Are you out of your ever loving mind?!?!?! Sammy get back! What!!!! Strawberry jam!!!!” Meow-hahaha…

“Ok, is anyone else getting spooked by these woods here? They are just a little on the creepy side. What do you have there Bruce? That looks like Henry’s favourite book and OMG the picture of him and mom that he uses as a book mark! How could he ever loose such a thing? This isn’t good.” Meeeow.

Finally the motley crew made it to the fayre. However, much to their dismay is was massive! And quite spooky. Wherever would they find Henry? It looked like all the tents were pitched. And the fayre was in full swing. So where could he be? Would anyone be willing to help? And what was Henry’s old truck doing there parked in front?

“Well, the first logical place to start is at the opening ticket booth!” said Tommy. Meow. It’s the only way in thought Sammy. Lo and behold what do they find but Henry’s toolbelt laying there in the open. “How can this be? Those tools are worth a lot of money! He worked hard to buy those. He would not leaving them lying around where anyone could steal them. Something is amiss here.”

Venturing further into the grounds the crew stops by the fortune teller booth to see if she can offer some assistance. “Why yes I saw someone who resembled you just the other day and he ran away screaming. He dropped this behind him.” she replies as she passes over a cellphone. Tommy quick enters a familiar passcode and up pops a picture of his brother on the homescreen. They are getting closer, or are they?

Meow! Meow! Meow! Meow! Sammy’s insistent meows lead the team to a House of mirrors. “Could he really be in here?” thought Tommy. “Sammy seems pretty certain of it. He does not want to leave the door. Perhaps it is best we all enter and resume the search in here. But gosh, mirrors? They are creepy! Maybe, before we enter we best tie ourselves off to something out here just in case something goes awry. I don’t trust those shiny things one bit!” Meow! Meow! Meow!

“Ohmigosh! There are mirrors a-plenty in here! Wherever will we find Henry? It’s oh so overwhelming! My brother will be lost forever! I will never see him again! You are going to be an orphan Sammy! What if these are magic portals and he is trapped? What if he can never return? Oh dear oh dear oh dear!” Meeeow.

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 13/25

“Wait a moment! That looks like Henry! And mum! There! In that middle mirror! How ever did they get in there? We need rescue them before they become trapped for eternity! Quick team! Tie me up secure! I’m going in!” And with that Tommy made the decision to enter the Land of Mirrors to rescue not only his brother but their long lost mum.

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 14/25

“Awww guys, it was so sweet of you to come with me but who is going to pull us out? I mean I know we are tied off to the carousel and all but will its spinning pull us all out? And why are Henry and mum so far away? This road just seems to keep getting longer and longer! Bruce your wings must be getting tired by now. Want to fetch a ride on me for a bit? I think this may take awhile and I fear we are going to need all our energy if we are going to rescue Henry and mum.”

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 15/25

“Whoa! What’s going on here?” Ghosts and ghouls started flitting and flying around the team’s lifeline as they continued to reach out toward Henry and mum. Being a bat with a larger noggin than most Bruce swooped in and distracted them protecting the rope and ensuring the team would be able to return to the real world. That was a close one. Meow.

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 16/25

Just when the team was making success and reeling in Henry and mum, and they thought the situation could not get any worse, well they learned a lesson. Never think that. Before their eyes appeared an angry family of Chupahuahua determined to not let the team succeed. Sammy ran for the trees as fast as his claws would scramble as Bruce kept reeling on the rope pulling Henry and mom closer. Poor Tommy just stood paralyzed in fear. Was this the end of them all?

POOF! The Land of Mirrors was messing with the team! From a family of Chupahuahua to a deranged bunny in wolf’s clothing! Where would they end up next? They knew they had to work faster and get out of here. It was not a safe place to be. Sammy, Bruce and Tommy pulled with all their might along the rope trying to bring Henry and mum closer to save them from the horrors of this world.

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 18/25

“Well, I guess a possessed pumpkin patch is better than the other options we have run into.” muttered Tommy. The stacks of gourds in the moonlit patch were determined to not let the team pass. With mouths opened wide they stretched trying to chomp the rope in two and sever the lifeline. Was anything in the Land of Mirrors nice?

And with that the team’s luck started to change. Instead of gourds attacking them the landscape magically transformed again into one where there were beautifully carved jack o’ lanterns all ready for the holiday season. “This is a pleasant change.” said Tommy, “Maybe we now actually have a chance at rescuing Henry and mum and getting out of this spooky place and back to the real world!” Bruce just looked at him and nodded. Sammy, well being Sammy, he meowed hungry for dinner.

Success! Finally the team was able to reel in Henry and mum and they were altogether and as safe as they could be in this crazy land. After a few hugs and a pose for a group picture on Henry’s phone they realized they had to start finding a way out. Would the rope attached to the carousel really work? Were there enough kids at the fayre wanting to ride the carousel that it would start up? Would the Land of Mirrors allow them to leave? All they could do was wait and see. They just wanted to go home. This world was too unpredictable and spooky.

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 21/25

There was a tug on the rope! It went taut and then they started moving! Before they knew it they were zipping thru the land backwards back toward the mirror they entered. Would it actually work? Were they going to break free? For once that annoying oompah-pah carousel music did not irritate Sammy’s delicate ears as he knew he was on his way home with his master and soon to get his dinner!

i•m•o Harambe is questing! Episode 22/25

Freedom! They were out! Tommy and Henry hugged as they were reunited together with their long lost mum. It had been years since anyone has seen her. Before he passed away their father posted flyers and offered a reward for her return but nothing ever came of it. And here she was! And to think she doesn’t even appear to have aged a day! Meow! Meow! Meow! “Yes Sammy. Let’s go home and get you some dinner before you waste away to nothing you silly kitty.” replied Henry.

So the brothers could reunite their mum offered to drive Henry’s truck back to her house. Sitting in the back truck bed they got talking as to why Henry up and disappeared as he did. “It was a good job opportunity to make some money for Sammy and I. But as I was heading there the road was quite bumpy and the weather extreme and some of my stuff flew out of the truck’s cab. And well I got hungry so I had my sandwich but it dripped all over me making a mess so I just stripped. When I arrived at the fayre some drove me to the mirrors. I do not know what it was. And then I saw here. Mum! She was there waving at me. I reached out to touch her and somehow fell in! Then I was trapped too. We both would have been trapped had it not been for you, Bruce and Sammy.”

“Hey! Would you look at that?!? The old homestead is still standing!” exclaimed Tommy. “Sure it looks a little rough but after being abandoned for 25years anything would be.” The crew pulled up in front of the house where Tommy and Henry grew up to let their mum out. Despite their offers to have her come live with them she wanted to go home. It had been many years afterall.

“What’s that Bruce? We get the reward? You mean after all these years it is still active?” Tommy and Henry were both flabbergasted. Never in a million years did they expect to get the reward their father had posted so many years ago for their mum’s safe return. “This doesn’t feel right. Sure I can buy a lot of food for Sammy but I think we should give it to mum. Help her get back on her paws after all these years.” Meeeeeow!
