Kicsi is questing! Episode 1/25

In the magical land of PnF, there is a rite of passage that all Bunnies look forward to when they reach the age of three! Grandpa Bob Bunny is happy to hand over the information to Bertie, who's excited to have turned 3 before the Easter season!
"Come on, Kicsi! You can join me in the fun!"

Kicsi is questing! Episode 2/25

Bertie and Kicsi meandered over to the meadow to grab Bertie's best friend, Sue to join them in looking for the special egg that will become Bertie's new home! Grandpa Bob gave them the coordinates in Bertie's smart phone, they just need to figure out how to read them! Sue is excited to join along and has heard the rumour that there's tons of chocolate and treats along the way!

Bertie mentioned to Kicsi that his cousin Morticia has completed this journey last year, and maybe she has some hot tips on how to find the magical portal that will get them to their coordinates faster!

Well, said Sue, this doesn't look like anything special! The group made a quick scan of the old watering can in the deep woods. "I bet it's so people not looking to quest don't bother it" said a sing song voice from above. Bertie hopped about 10 feet into the air and Sue almost fainted! "Who's there?!" asked Bertie.
"Just little old me, said Paully, a little cockatoo hanging out in the tree above.

Kicsi is questing! Episode 5/25

"I still feel a little queasy after that trip through the portal," said Paully. Bertie was excited to see the exotic foxes in the glade, and after pantomiming back and forth for a little bit, he figured out the clue to get him closer to finding the egg house! Meanwhile, Sue found a stash of chocolate eggs and was tucking them into her deep wool, saving some for later.

Kicsi is questing! Episode 6/25

Wow! Look at the eggs here, Bertie! This should be egg-sactly where we can find the special one!" said Sue. Bertie was as excited to search all over, however, there were some eggs lurking in the shadows that looked like they weren't quite as welcoming as some of the others.... After a thorough search, the group came up egg-mpty handed, er, pawed? Wings? Hooved? Whatever... what's next for the coordinates?

"Oh Bertie", cried Sue, "I just don't think we should be poking around these nests of eggs!"
"PFT, these crocks are friendly enough! They won't mind us poking around looking for our special egg!" replied Bertie.
"GULP!" said Paully, "I think that's a feather hanging out of that crock's teeth, Bertie! I'm taking flight and saving my feathers! Be careful looking!" and without further ado, Paully flew off to the new coordinates, and Sue, rather a nervous sheep, chocked a handful of chocolate eggs in her mouth for cocoa courage, and convinced Bertie to move along!

Catching up to Paully in a beautiful open glade, Sue and Bertie catch their breath, Bertie contemplating that close call with the crocks. Just starting to lightly sprinkle, the friends heard a whisper in the patter of rain falling! "Do you hear that, Sue?" asked Bertie. ”Hello travelers! The treat you seek is close at hand, but far from your grasp! Listen carefully, and heed your inner bunny!" Whispering, Paully told the friends to look slyly, there was a Grandmother Tree, appearing in the shimmering mist! "Don't move quickly, they don't appear very long! Did you write down the clue?" asked Paully. Sue melted some chocolate and wrote it on Bertie's back. Hopefully it quits raining or they won't be able to read it long! And just like that, the Grandmother tree faded into the forest.

"Well, Bertie, how's that for a poke in the eye? Here we've been struggling to find our coordinates and special egg house, and this guy's selling them for a discount!" exclaimed Paully.
"I better see what the deal is, I don't think Grandpa Bob would have sent me on a wild goose chase, er, rabbit hole? Either way, let's check it out!" replied Bertie. After casually strolling over the the huckster, it was found he was selling replica toys of the egg houses, for a maximum fee! Bertie loved the idea of having a miniature house for display in the new one, but since he didn't know what the new one looks like, he better wait!

Kicsi is questing! Episode 10/25

"Sue! You licked off all the wording from the clue from the Grandmother Tree! Now what should we do?" asked Paully.
Sue replied with a mouth full of wool, "I have a really good memory, but it's getting late, let's check into the Inn and get some rest first. Besides, I think I might need some fresh greens after all that chocolate."
So the group settled in for a healthy dinner and wrote out what they recalled of the message on cocktail napkins.

After getting up bright and early, the group of friends were amazed to find an egg that looked promising, but disappeared quickly! Bertie chased after a shimmering light in an old abandoned mine shaft, and Sue and Paully wondered what might be lurking in the depths! ZOOM! And just like that, the trio were transported magically..................

Kicsi is questing! Episode 12/25

With a sudden POP! and faster drop, the friends found themselves shivering atop a rugged peak, surrounded by dinosaurs! "EEK! Bertie! I don't even want to look for your special egg here! They're looking at us like we're the next thing on the menu! Check your coordinates quick!" yelled Sue. Paully picked up one of Bertie's long ears and hid underneath. With a quick calculation, Bertie declared that if they clicked their heels three times and yelled "There's no place like PnF" they would reverse the portal. And without further ado, the trio started clicking!

Kicsi is questing! Episode 13/25

Glad that the little trick worked, the trio find themselves surrounded by those tricky hoomans, and all their colorful decorations they use for Easter. How's a bunny supposed to find anything with all this 'clutter'? Bertie deployed the Rabbit Radar that Grandpa Bob gave him, and declared after scanning the hooman world, that his special egg wasn't here! Paully and Sue were entralled with the hoomans and their outfits, and thought maybe that might be a new fashion in PnF for them?

Kicsi is questing! Episode 14/25

“Did..did...did that mushroom just talk to us? Bertie? Are you even listening to me? Bertie!" yelled Paully, when after heading down the road, they came to a village with all sorts of mushrooms. "Why yes, little bird, we all talk here. Try some mushrooms! We're eatable, er, edible, you can eat us!" cried the one closest to the friends. Paully and Sue figured that one nibble wouldn't hurt, but Bertie had heard rumors and declined and let his friends know that sometimes the mushrooms made you grow, sometimes they made you shrink. Maybe for now they should stay on the mission!

Leaving the mushroom village the friends find themselves in the deep, dark forest, and no sight of Grandmother Tree this time! Just some dark and mysterious eggs emanating a smell that curled Paully's feathers! This might be a place for special, magical eggs, but not Berties!

Kicsi is questing! Episode 16/25

OOH, look! Rainbow eggs! They match the mist-ical waterfalls! The trio, none of which are good swimmers, watch as the eggs bob on the churning waters, and Bertie grabs his Rabbit Radar, checking to see if these eggs might have one he's looking for. No sign of a blip on the radar, so the group hangs out for a little while, enjoying a few snacks from the food vendors, and Sue wanted a souvenir. Bertie was just glad that Paully was done hiding in his ears!

Weary after a day of wandering, Bertie spied an abandoned camper in a lovely field of lavender. And if they weren't tired already, smelling that lavender surly made them on the nods! Snuggling in for a good night's sleep, the trio can't wait to start the hunt for the magical egg again tomorrow!

Bright and early, as the dawn was peeking over the horizon, Bertie told the friends all about his dreams of his special egg! He can feel it in his lucky bunny foot that they are SO close! Paully has enjoyed this little side adventure, but is getting ready to head home, Sue on the other hand, is still hoarding the candy eggs, and her wool is looking pretty plump.

Coming full circle, the pals find themselves back at the entrance of the old mine, and knowing what was on the other side, hopped and flew into the portal, hoping that today is their lucky day to find Bertie's magical egg!

Instead of taking them back to their original point, they landed softly in a field full of chocolate eggs! Sue can barely contain her excitement over the assortment and all the yummy varieties! Why, there's crispy, caramel, hazelnut! OH, is that peanut butter filled? She yelled for Bertie and Paully to find her a bag (or 20) to help her carry her loot, but Bertie's on his radar, checking to see if any of these confectionary delights are his special egg, which, sadly, they aren't!

And just like that, without fanfare or a parade, the trio were EGG-cited to find Bertie's special egg, glittering in the sunlight, lying in a field near his cousin's house. Paully laughed, as the clue from Grandmother Tree now made sense, "The treat you seek is close at hand, but far from your grasp! Listen carefully, and heed your inner bunny!"
”Bertie, we're only about 5 feet from your Grandpa Bob's rabbit hole, we took the really long way home!” said Sue.

Sue, Bertie and Paully were showing off his gorgeous egg to any and everyone, and soon wondered why it wasn't transforming into the special prize that Grandpa Bob said it would. Bertie's cousin, Elmer, explained that even though they were almost back to where they started from, they still need to travel back into the portal.

After a little more celebrations, Morticia gives Bertie a big hug and a little nibble on his ears, and wished him a fun journey back to the portal with the magical egg.

“I wonder if there's anything we should know about when we go through the magic portal with a magical egg" asked Sue. Bertie was so enthralled with the find, he wasn't listening. Sue hoped that all the chocolate she'd amassed on their journey wouldn't just disappear or some weird thing. Paully just groomed feathers, and waited for the signal to start through!

Kicsi is questing! Episode 25/25

"Look Hans Hauntzel! Look what we found! And after we travelled through the magical portal, it expanded into the new home for Bertie!" said Paully, perched on the porch. Bertie was gleaming from whisker to whisker, excited to have turned 3 and completed this fun journey, although if he never sees dinosaurs again, it'll be too soon!

Thanks for questing with me, shouted Bertie to Kicsi while passing a token of appreciation. Kicsi really needs to get home!
