All the King's Horses
Belgium has eight different horse breeds, used variously as draught horses or as general riding horses or in showjumping. The escort is a horse and motorcycle unit that accompanies the Belgian monarch (currently King Philippe) on ceremonial occasions. It also provides escorts for foreign visiting heads of state and ambassadors visiting the Royal Palace in Brussels.
