Happie Harriet and Mr. Panda are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground North
All the fun of the fair is here to provide your pet with entertainment and thrills, from waterslide to big wheel. And has your pet a strong enough stomach for a death-defying rollercoaster ride? To help restore your pet's equilibrium after all the excitements of the fairground rides, there are stalls selling hot potato snacks, popcorn, toffee apples, candy and delicious cakes and other yummy delights made from the autumn harvest produce! We hope everypet will leave clutching at least one of the fun carnival novelties!

Schnupfen met Happie Harriet at one of the refreshment stands. Schnupfen groaned slightly and clutched her tum. “I’m going to go and sit down for a while first, Happie Harriet. I need to recover from that last ride!”

“That should keep me going till I get home tonight,” said Zoe to Happie Harriet, while crumpling her used food container and placing it carefully in a litter bin.
“Or at least until the next food stall!” observed Happie Harriet.

"You said that about the toffee apples, the popcorn, the cinnamon buns, the candy floss and the gingerbread. You'll have to hire a lorry to carry it all home!" said Happie Harriet.

PufFy hesitated as he and Happie Harriet approached the next ride. "I don't know, Happie Harriet, it makes me feel a bit scared!"
"Would you say it was on a par with coming face-to-face with those wolves suddenly in the Labyrinth?" asked Happie Harriet cheerfully. "Look, you don't have to do it if you don't want; you can watch me go round and then decide."

@ Blue Sky Wheeling
The ride had started off fairly gently, but was now gathering speed at a great rate! Silky and Happie Harriet had met just as it was starting and had managed to shake paws and say “Hello” before the ride deprived them both of breath!

“Um—why does everypet start yelping, howling and screeching when they start swooshing down the ride, Happie Harriet?” asked Bella nervously.

"Just listen to that old fairground pipe organ, Trish!" said Happie Harriet. "I love the painted figures, especially the conductor keeping time at the front. You can hear the music all over the fairground!"
"It certainly adds to the atmosphere," said Trish. "Hey, the ride's about to start! Let's see if we can hear the music from the top!"
Hair-raising Roller Coaster
The world's oldest roller coasters descended from specially constructed hills of snow in the gardens of palaces around the Russian capital, St Petersburg, in the 18th century. The slides were built to a height of between 70 ft - 80 ft (21-24 m), had a 50 degree drop. These slides became popular with the Russian upper class."Russian mountains" remains the term for roller coasters in many languages, such as Spanish (la montaña rusa), Italian (montagne russe), and French (les montagnes russes). Ironically, the Russian term for roller coaster, "amerikanskie gorki", translates literally as "American mountains."

Happie Harriet was listening enraptured to the music emerging from the nearby carousel. “My Mum used to sing this, blade!” he exclaimed excitedly. "Music allures, graceful and sweet, bidding us dance, airy and fleet—” he waltzed in a ragged circle and accidentally bumped into the carnival novelties stand. “Ooh! I’ll buy one of those while I'm here, blade!” he said.

moo moo got carefully down from the ride, stumbling slightly and holding tightly onto the sides. "I say, you do look a bit green, moo moo, old thing!" said Happie Harriet. "I'm reminded of when you got seasick on our Crocodile Creek trip!"
"I was not seasick," said moo moo with dignity. "I had merely eaten something that disagreed with me."

As sunset falls, you enjoy the ever-changing view as you chug a little further upwards and then pause as each pod takes on its precious cargo of pets eager to enjoy the ride. Then when all the pods are full, the wheel starts to turn, building up speed!

Happie Harriet came up to the snackbar where the vendor was just handing over a very large portion to Slushie. "Gosh, Slushie, you're like those ravenous guinea pigs in Meadowlands! I'd never seen animals eating with such diligence before!"
