With its high, arched windows, ornate chandeliers, and musicians tuning up their instruments ready for the formal dancing to start, men in formal tailcoats and the ladies in graceful, long dresses, it would be the start of a gorgeous and convivial evening!

Here we have a splendid black-and-white Dutch guinea pig and a self-coloured black, meaning it is black all over. Guinea pigs are herd animals and must have companionship of their own kind. A guinea pig should never be kept on its own.
