Sgt. Fowler decided that after much sluething at her job, that a beach vacation is just what the Chief ordered. Seriously, Chief ordered her to take a vacation. She' was getting a little loopy with her theories of how the crime occurred.

Taking the order quite seriously, as she really is a serious chicken, she headed to the beach, and unpacked her entire bag of beach supplies.

Wandering over to the surf shoppe, oblivious to the drama unfolding behind her, she starts gabbing to Curtis, the owner about strange footprints in the sand.

Curtis, curious to see what Sgt. Fowler has found, looks down in the grassy dunes and sees some startling prints in the sand as well! It looks like a mystery in the making!

A good detective always uses a secret identity! Look over there, let's see what's in that tent! I bet it's filled with costumes we can use! "errrr, I think that is the hut the sunbathers use to change in." said Curtis. But Sgt. Fowler was already clucking away and searching for the perfect costume.

Curtis! That is an excellent disguise! A robot Chicken! laughed Sgt. Fowler. What do you think of mine? Space Chicken? Curtis, laughed and thought who in the PnF universe wer on his beach sunbathing? But replied, "Very clever, indeed!"

And the duo took off over the sands following the tracks!

The duo followed the tracks until they got lost in the asphalt, and the two wondered where they would be going from here? Maybe the workers have seen something out of the ordinary? wondered Curtis, but how much odder than they look could it be?

Turning on her glazer-saber, Sgt. Fowler picks back up the eerie glow of foot prints, and points them out to Curtis, excitedly following them back up the grassy knoll!

Reaching the top of the grassy hill, the two realize that the tracks have completely disappeared! This was a fun little diversion, but what now? Sgt. Fowler sat down and had a good think, and in looking up saw the most amazing sight! Curtis was amazed as well, he'd seen some pretty trippy sights before but prints in the atmosphere?

I don't mean to be a pain, Sgt. Fowler, but this disguise is getting too hot for me and I really need to check on the store. I am headed back to the beach. Come have a drink with me and we'll look for new undercover garb! Sounds good to me, let's go! clucked Fowler.

Curtis found everything in good shape, gave the clerk a good break and Sgt. Fowler had some cool beverages. And she was shocked to see the tracks right on the beach they started from!. She excitedly called to Curtis and followed the tracks to the water edge!

Curtis and Sgt. Fowler decided to see if the tracks became visible again on the beach on the distant island shore! They are closing in quickly! Sgt. Fowler dug around in the box tucked in the stern and found some great props for their disguise when they land!

Realizing on the beach that the tracks lead deep into the tree that was glowing, both Sgt. Folwer and Curtis (who loves these silky locks) decided to follow them, wherever they might lead. Sgt. Folwer? Do you really think what made the tracks is inside that tree? How are we getting inside?

Suddenly, the friends find themselves right back at the beach they started in, and a huge beach party is in full swing! And taking center stage! What is that?

Sgt. Fowler had only heard of the Outlander in stories and enjoyed seeing the drawings in old fable books, but goodness gracious, there is one (or is that many?) on the dance floor enjoying the vibes by Pebble and the Gravel! Curtis, while having enjoyed the escapade, was happy the mystery was solved and was ready to be back to work. Sgt. Fowler, decided to dance the night away, and enjoy a little more of her vacation!

While daydreaming about her treasure, Sgt. Fowler almost missed the strange little Outlander creature sipping a big mug of Granny's Iced Tea. I can tell you have an adventurous soul,' said the little blob of shimmer. 'Would you like to take another, with me?' Clucking peckishly, Sgt. Fowler ticked off the pros and cons of another adventure and with a complete stranger to boot? But then she remembered her Granny always said that a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet. So, with a flurish of feather, she gladly accepted the offer and started to get her gear together!

Sgt. Fowler and the Outlander were walking along telling Knock-Knock jokes when the Outlander chimed off with Knock-knock! Wanna know who's there? Why it me, the alien, here to take you home!
Sgt. Fowler was immediately startled when a blinding light appeared in broad daylight and they shimmered into space!

Sgt. Fowler was amazed at the new sights! And the Outlander treated her to all kinds of new food delicacies as well!

They swooshed past planets and other strange sights, and Sgt. Fowler wondered if anyone would ever believe that she honestly took such a trip!

Snoring loudly, for all the beach to hear, Sgt. Fowler was completely oblivious to the noise she was making, when Curtis, decided to check on her. She had the most serene look on her face, and tiny bit of drool dripping down. She was mumbling something about the Outlander? But by golly, wait until she wakes up to that sunburn!

Curtis, showing Sgt. Fowler the trick to quick sunburn relief, helped her lather it on. "Oh, Curtis! This has been the very best vacation ever! I had the loveliest dreams! You and I found an ALIEN and then it took me to outer space!" You should take home some souveniers from your beach day, let me just grab a few things from the shop for you! And after picking out a few things, Sgt. Fowler went home!

Ooh, look at that! Someone remodeled my house when I was gone! I love it! And Curtis! There you are! Thank you for the lovely shell for my keeper gift! And I get to pick an egg, too! WOW! This really has been a great vacation!
