Dried flowers are always rendered more beautiful when sprayed with silver paint, for example, for Christmas decorations. Their coat pattern offers excellent camouflage and improved survival chances, which is probably why it was sported by the first domesticated cats. This handsome young guinea pig is a silver agouti. The hair shaft has two colours with the main part being one colour with the tip of the shaft another so as to give its coat a peppered look. A silver agouti has deep black hair with silver ticking.
