Bo and Koo are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

@ Caballo Carousel
Brujula and Bo watched the antics on the waterslide as they stood in the line of pets waiting to board the next ride. "Remember when Foxy leant too far over the bridge in Meadowlands that time, and fell in the pond with a huge splash?" asked Bo. "My stomach muscles ached from laughing for days!"

“C’mon, rex, let’s check out this ride!" chirped Bo happily. “I can’t wait to get me some g-force!” rex trotted—not quite so enthusiastically—in Bo’s wake.

"Would you say it was on a par with coming face-to-face with those wolves suddenly in the Labyrinth?" asked Bo cheerfully. "Look, you don't have to do it if you don't want; you can watch me go round and then decide."

“You bet—let me just finish my ice cream!” Kitty waited while Bo had the last lick of ice cream and munched the last inch of cornet, then they excitedly queued up for the ride!

"Just listen to that old fairground pipe organ, Willow!" said Bo. "I love the painted figures, especially the conductor keeping time at the front. You can hear the music all over the fairground!"
"It certainly adds to the atmosphere," said Willow. "Hey, the ride's about to start! Let's see if we can hear the music from the top!"

Ferris wheels are named after George W. Ferris, a US engineer from Pittsburgh, who built the first one for the World Expo in Chicago in 1893. Expo visitors found unexpected excitement and novelty. Not only the Ferris wheel but the amazing new wonder that ran it—electricity—were presented for the first time in America.
